Rena Sofer

Rena Sherel (born on the 2nd of December in 1968), is an American actress. Her performances include daytime television as well as episodic guest performances and TV-produced films. Sofer received a Daytime Emmy Award 1995 for her portrayal as Lois Cerullo of the soap opera General Hospital. She was Quinn Fuller's role in the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful between 2013 and 2022.





 Early life



 Sofer was born in Arcadia (California) The daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau), who is a psychologist, as well as Martin Sofer, who is an Orthodox Rabbi.





 In 1970, she relocated in 1970 to Teaneck, New Jersey with her brother David and her father. But, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania as a child. The family was raised in Ambridge, Pennsylvania by their father, Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She later attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high school in Paramus, New Jersey. Sofer was raised in North Bergen where her father was the synagogue rabbi Temple Beth El. She graduated from North Bergen High School, later attending classes at Montclair State College.





 Career



 Daytime television



 Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer played with on General Hospital. She first appeared in 1993 as a manager for a band. However, her first high-profile part was that of Rocky McKenzie on the daytime soap series Loving (1988-91).
