Handler achieved her first big break in 2006 when she hosted the show on E! the show was titled The Chelsea Show. The Chelsea Handler Show ran for two seasons. Handler also performed in America in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all aired her stand-up shows. It was announced in 2010 she was to host the MTV Video Music Awards 2010. With this, she became the first woman to host VMA's after Roseanne Barr.
