Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer - born on August 4, 1981, is an American actress. She is most famous for her roles in the movies The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You as well as for her roles on the television series Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. She became famous for her roles as a character in Rectify (a comedy) as well as Timeless (a science fiction). Her first appearance on stage was All My Children, a soap opera based out of Gulf Breeze Florida. Her character in the soap drama All My Children earned her an award from the soap Opera Digest for the best female newcomer. In the following years, she was mostly a guest actor in a number of television series. The most well-known was her role as the character of Dr. Erin Jameson, in the show Hawthorne. Slowly with the help of her dazzling looks and amazing acting talents, she was able to grow a huge fan audience. In the movie Campfire Stones, she played in the role in the film at age 20. Her other roles in are Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. She earned a nomination for the Madrid International Film Festival Award for her performance in the film Beautiful Now'. Her most recent work in television is the lead part of the professor of history Lucy Preston in the sci-fi television series Timeless. Spencer was awarded a Teen Choice Award nomination and is also being highly praised for her performance in this show by the critics.
